Bunge names interim c.e.o.
Heckman as new chief executive
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Gregory A.
Heckman has been appointed chief
executive officer of Bunge Ltd., effective immediately. Mr. Heckman had
been serving as interim c.e.o. since late
January when he took over for Soren
Schroder, who previously announced
his intention to step down.
"After a thorough, global search
process, the board clearly recognized
that Greg has the unique combination of expertise, vision and leadership to successfully lead Bunge," said
Kathleen Hyle, non-executive board
chair. "His effectiveness over the past
several months as acting c.e.o. has solidified our view that Greg will drive

continued progress for the business."
Mr. Heckman joined the Bunge board
in 2018. He has more than 30 years of
experience in the agriculture, energy
and food processing industries. Mr. Heckman
is founding partner of
Flatwater Partners, a
private investment firm.
Previously, he was c.e.o.
of The Gavilon Group,
L.L.C., prior to the sale Heckman
of its agriculture business to Marubeni Corp. and its energy
business to NGL Energy Partners.
He led the formation of Gavilon, the
successor to ConAgra Trade Group,

ADM undergoes changes in
grain group leadership
CHICAGO - Wesley Uhlmeyer,
president of the grain group at Archer
Daniels Midland Co. since March
2016, has stepped down for personal
reasons. Christopher L. Boerm, currently president of ADM's transportation group, will add the title of president of grain.
Mr. Boerm joined ADM in 1991 and
has held a variety of merchandising
and management positions, including as president of grain from April
2014 to April 2016. Earlier, he was an
adviser to the office of the chairman,
and he also was vice-president and

general manager of Eastern grain and
corn processing origination and a senior merchandising manager for corn
processing.
He received a bachelor's degree in finance
and management from
Wartburg College in
Waverly, Iowa, and a
master's degree in business administration from Boerm
Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Mr. Uhlmeyer had been with ADM
for 20 years, including the past three

Panera picks Krispy Kreme
executive as new c.e.o.
ST. LOUIS - Niren Chaudhary has been
named president and chief executive officer of Panera Bread Co., a subsidiary of
JAB Holding Co. Mr. Chaudhary will succeed Blaine Hurst, who plans to retire on
May 23 after leading the company since
January 2018. Mr. Hurst will remain on
Panera's board and become vice-chairman.
Mr. Chaudhary joins Panera from Krispy
Kreme Doughnuts, Inc., another portfolio
company of JAB Holding. Mr. Chaudhary
has been chief operating officer and president of Krispy Kreme International since
2017. Before that, he spent 23 years with
Yum! Brands, Inc. in a variety of executive positions, including president of KFC
Global and president of Yum! India.

and oversaw the spin-off of ConAgra
Trade Group from ConAgra Foods after a 24-year career at ConAgra Foods.
Mr. Heckman has a bachelor of science
degree in agriculture economics and
marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Mr. Hurst had been with Panera since

2010, holding various roles, including executive vice-president and chief transformation and growth officer. He has been
Panera's president and c.e.o. since January 2018. Mr. Hurst will work alongside
Mr. Chaudhary after he joins the company in early May to help ensure a smooth
transition into his new role, Panera said.
