BATTLE CREEK, MICH. - Kellogg Co.
will add to its snacks lineup and cereal portfolio in 2019 with the launch of four new
products under its Cheez-It, Pringles, Rice
Krispies Treats and Frosted Flakes brands.
Cheez-It Snap'd are thin and crispy
cheese crackers. The crackers will be available in four varieties: double cheese,
cheddar sour cream and
onion, white cheddar and
bacon, and jalapeño jack.
Pringles Wavy will bring
a new twist to the original
Pringles crisp, boasting a
thick, wavy texture. Pringles Wavy will be available
in four varieties: fire roasted jalapeño, classic salted,
sweet and tangy BBQ, and

Rice Krispies Treats Snap Crackle Poppers feature chewy, bite-sized Rice
Krispies Treats coated in a smooth, silky
topping. The Poppers are available in
three flavors: chocolatey, vanilla creme
and cookies 'n' creme.
"Snacking culture continues to evolve
and is an industry ripe with innovation
and momentum," said Yuvraj Arora, senior
vice-president of marketing for Kellogg's
U.S. Snacks division. "We're committed to

meeting hungry consumers' demands and
delivering new experiences with our snacks.
Each of these snacks are munchable, flavorful, shareable and perfect for everything
from family game night to a relaxing evening of streaming your favorite TV show."
Meanwhile, in the cereal category Kellogg is extending its Frosted Flakes
ready-to-eat cereal brand with the
launch of Kellogg's Honey Nut Frosted Flakes. The new cereal features a
blend of honey and brown
butter on toasted corn flakes.
"Honey Nut Frosted
Flakes was a tough nut to
crack," said Brant Wheaton,
senior brand manager for
Frosted Flakes. "We knew
our fans would be excited for
this flavor, and we're, too. It
was such a fun challenge to combine the
two well-known flavors of honey nut and
Frosted Flakes to make something completely unique and, quite frankly, g-r-reat."
The new cereal joins a lineup that includes Kellogg's Frosted Flakes, Cinnamon Frosted Flakes, Chocolate Frosted
Flakes and Kellogg's Frosted Flakes with
Marshmallows.
The cereal will be available nationwide
in January at all major retailers. MBN

Subway launches
Brands team up on new cheesy garlic

ST. LOUIS - Post Holdings, Inc. has
partnered with Hostess Brands, L.L.C. to
introduce two new cereal varieties: Post
Hostess Donettes cereal and Post Hostess
Honey Bun cereal.
The companies described new Post
Hostess Donettes cereal as "the perfect
tiny and sweet addition to your breakfast table." The new cereal is a takeoff of
Hostess powdered sugar Donettes.
Meanwhile, Post Hostess Honey Bun
cereal features the sweet taste of Hostess's Honey Bun sweet goods.
The new cereals will be available beginning in January.
The partnership with Hostess continues Post's efforts to collaborate with
other grain-based foods companies to
introduce innovative products in the cereal category. The company also recently
announced it is partnering with Mondelez International to introduce Sour
Patch Kids cereal. MBN

MILFORD, CONN. - Subway Restaurants has introduced a new bread
variety. Ultimate Cheesy Garlic Bread
features a garlic butter spread made
with butter and roasted garlic, melted
Parmesan and shredded mozzarella
cheese.
Subway is encouraging customers to
try the bread as an added indulgence to
two sandwiches: the Ultimate Meatball
Marinara Sandwich and the Ultimate
Spicy Italian.
"Pairing two of our most iconic sandwiches with arguably the most delicious
cheesy garlic bread ever served delivers
a flavor experience unlike anything in
the market today," said Len Van Popering, vice-president of global brand and
innovation at Subway.
The new bread will be available
through Feb. 27.
Earlier Subway introduced Sunflower
