Ramon Laguarta named c.e.o. of
PepsiCo; to succeed Indra Nooyi
PURCHASE, N.Y. - Ramon Laguarta
will succeed Indra K. Nooyi as chief executive officer of PepsiCo, Inc. on Oct. 3.
Ms. Nooyi will remain chairman of the
board until early 2019 to ensure a smooth
transition, according to the company.
Mr. Laguarta has been with the company for 22 years. Since September 2017,
he has served as president of PepsiCo,
overseeing global operations, corporate
strategy, public policy and government
affairs. Previously, Mr. Laguarta served
as c.e.o., Europe Sub-Saharan Africa.
"Ramon is a strong and proven executive with an outstanding track record
growing organically and by acquiring
some of PepsiCo's largest and most important international businesses," said
Daniel Vasella, chairman of the board's
nominating and corporate governance
committee. "He keenly understands the

evolving needs of consumers and customers and the trends affecting our business in markets around the world. He
will bring the depth of experience and
innovative thinking that has powered his previous achievements as
he is inheriting a well-positioned
company poised to continue delivering top-tier performance.

Thomsen to step down as
president of Bunge Agribusiness
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. - Brian Thomsen, president of Bunge Ltd.'s Agribusiness unit, has announced his intent to
retire. He will remain with the company
through the end of the year to ensure a
smooth transition, the company said.
"Brian's leadership, business knowledge and expertise in risk management
have been instrumental to Bunge over the
years," said Soren Schroder, chief executive officer.
Mr. Thomsen joined the company in

2004 and has led Bunge's Agribusiness
segment since May 2014, having previously served as managing director
of the global Grains and Oilseeds
product lines.

commercial team, enhanced our
global value chain integration and

Dennis Vaughn succeeding Bob Moore
as chief executive of Bob's Red Mill
MILWAUKIE, ORE. - After 40 years,
Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods will have
a new chief executive.
Dennis Vaughn, a longtime executive
of the company, has been promoted to
c.e.o. He succeeds Bob Moore, who will
remain active as founder and president of
the company but will transition his c.e.o.
responsibilities to Mr. Vaughn.
"Dennis and I share a passion for this
brand and have worked closely together
to grow Bob's Red Mill into what it is today," Mr. Moore said. "I truly believe there
is no better person to lead this company to
even greater success, and I look forward
to continuing to work with him to manage
this business we both know and love."

Mr. Vaughn joined the company in
1999 as director of operations, and later
was elevated to senior vice-president of
operations and chief operating
officer in 2013. During his nearly
two decades with Bob's Red Mill,
Mr. Vaughn has helped drive innovation and production capabilities for strategic new products
such as Oatmeal Cups and Muesli
Cups. He also helped increase Vaughn
facility production by nearly 10
times what it was 20 years ago, according
to the company.

Nooyi's impact during her 12 years
at PepsiCo cannot be overstated.
"She achieved a series of highly impressive financial results, resisted considerable pressure to split up the company's
beverages and snacks business units and,
perhaps most importantly, was one of the
driving forces behind PepsiCo's focus on

Before joining Bunge, Mr. Thomsen was managing director of dry
commodity trading at Nidera and
earlier held global trading and
management roles at Cargill. He
started his career in 1988 at Aarhus
Oil, a Danish cru sh and refining
company, and is a graduate of the
International Academy of Business

Mr. Moore and his wife, Charlee,
founded Bob's Red Mill in 1978, and today the company is a leader in organic
and gluten-free foods. The company's

In 2010, Mr. Moore turned the company over to his employees, making
Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods an
employee-owned company through
an employee stock ownership plan.
Although he is relinquishing his
duties as c.e.o., Mr. Moore, 89, intends to
remain active at the company. He plans
to remain the face of the company while
promoting the benefits of whole grains
